The copper she-dog sat by the door of a resturaunt, her silky ears pricked expectantly. She whined as the scents of food wafted out the door. A human came out with a bag, and Maggy looked up, barking softly. She wagged her feathered tail, her pink tongue hanging out of her mouth. The little retriever loved humans, and although she lived on the streets, was allowed into houses sometimes. She was kicked out at some point though. The woman who had come out looked down at the dog, glancing around and pulling a piece of chicken out of the bag and tossing it to Maggy. The retriever jumped up, catching the chicken breast in her mouth. She wagged her tail, laying down on the sidewalk to eat her prize. Even better, there was a bone in it! Yay!

Ah, the good life, life on the road for this particualr mutt. HIs stumppy tail wagged behind his lean backside as he trotted down teh street. His ears that stuck up, then flopped foreward bobbing with his step as he trotted down the street. He ws tall next to the two-leggers, rising up past theire hips as he walked. Yes, he was large. He wasn't a bulky canine, just oversized. His square jaw hung open, the black and purple tongue lolling out as he wlaked, mixing with the dancing of his ears in teh rythm of his step. Suddenly, his head lifted up and his step fumbled. His tongue pulled into his closed fangs as he scented the air. Chicken? Yes. He smiled and he trottted at a quicker pace towards it, looking carefully at the golden who had already claimed it. Stupid purebreed. That type of dog didn't belong on the street. Eh, it was. Nothing he could do about it. "Hey, Priss." He barked out loudly as he walked up to her. "What's a house-pet like you doin' out on teh street?" He growled as he walked casually around her, eyeing her and the chicken carefully.

Maggy looked up from her chicken, baring her teeth at the dog. "In was kicked out what, four years ago?" she growled, placing a copper paw over the prize protectively. The little she-dog was not agressive, no mean bone in her body. She did want her food though, seeing as she had gotten it...by herself. Maggy noticed the dog eyeing her chicken, and growled again. "Don't think you can steal it just because I'm a purebred."

A loud barking laugh caem from his jaws. "and what are you gonna do about it?" He growled, sitting before her. He looked at her, then the chicken, then her again. "I'm bigger than you. I suggest you clear away, ma'am." He said, standing up tall. He stretched a pw out towards the chicken, watching her carfeully.

Maggy lifted her tail, baring her teeth. "Bigger doesn't mean smarter." The she-dog grabbed her chicken and bolted away, her small size giving her a little bit more agility.

The brujo snarled playfully, then took off after her. His claws scuffled over the earth. Wiry muscles coiled and relaxed under his flesh like a giant mat of snakes. Luckily he wasn't bulky, giving him more speed to keep up with the fea, but not enough to catch her yet. He looked to a garbage can, grinnign and leaping onto it, then kciking off of it, pushing him to the fea. HIs paws struck sidewalk again, never stumbling a step.

Maggy scrambled to the side, but not quick enough. The brute had landed on her paw. Maggy yelped, dropping the chicken in the process. She reached for it, trying to grab it back.

The brute yelped, not expecting to land on her paw and stumbled, tripping over himself. Luckily he had braced himself with a sturdy limb and pulled himself to his feet, grabbing the chicken up with a grin, stupy tail wagging happily.

Maggy growled, but her soft nature would allow her to do no more. The golden moved off, sitting down by the wall to watch the brute gloat.

The dog trotted up to her and tossed the chicken back to her paws. "'ere. You deserve it." He said, tail stump wagging behind him as he stood before her. "What's your name, miss? I be Rellik." He lowered himself to his haunches, tail wagging behind him lightly.
